Todos Santos

At the west end of the Corridor beginning just north of Cabo San Lucas, the Pacific Coastline is developing rapidly, with electricity and other services pushing north from Los Cabos and south from Todos Santos to ensure development of several exclusive residential projects. While much of this spectacular coastline is still undeveloped, a paved four-lane highway now provides easy access and sightseeing, including frequent whale sightings during their winter months of migration.

A Refuge for Art Lovers and Nature Lovers

The beaches from Cabo San Lucas all the way to Todos Santos are where whales frolic and a fiery sun sets in amber glory, and it’s also where the Baja boom is headed. Mega Resort developments include Cabo Pacífica and Diamante attracting more and more buyers due to its spectacular golf course.  At the north end of the Pacific side is Todos Santos. Recently named as one of only two Magic Towns in Baja California Sur, Mexico for its historic and cultural importance, the government will now invest funds for preservation of its history and development of its infrastructure. A drive along The Pacific between Cabo San Lucas and Todos Santos is less than an hour each way.

The Hotel California, The Todos Santos Inn, the Hotelito and Posada La Poza are truly unique and special places to visit.  More recently, Todos Santos has also had a booming real estate business due to numerous upgrades and the ever-growing interest from North American artists, painters and musicians.  Its lore about the Hotel California’s history has helped guide people into the town.  Once there, they find an oasis with rich, fertile land that at one time harbored sugarcane fields and now boasts burgeoning palm trees as far as the eye can see.

As with the East Cape, Todos Santos is still somewhat rustic and smaller meaning its quaintness allows a bit better property prices right now but that won’t last long.  In Todos Santos, here you will find brilliant sunsets, encounter California-like coastlines, sloping hills along the mountains and lush vegetation within what has been known to be a more Bohemian culture.
